Cross Promotion

1. Functions#

  • Cross-promotion is a feature designed to help developers realize the ability to place Ads between different products or to place direct ads, thus realizing product user growth and revenue enhancement.

  • Cross-promotion can be viewed as an independent Ad source, and after creating an Ad plan in the Cross-Promotion function module, you can complete the cross-promotion sorting adjustment in the segments.

  • Currently, TradPlus supports a variety of Ad formats, including: Incentive Video, Open Screen, and Insertion Screen.

2. Usage scenes#

The cross-promotion feature can be used when the developer has the following needs:

  • Those who have their own advertising resources and cooperate with advertisers directly without going through established Networks;

  • Those who have a product matrix and want to channel volume from Product A to Product B.


3. Usage guides#

3.1 Preconditions#

The following TradPlus SDK version conditions must be met in order to utilize the cross-promotion feature:

3.2 Procedures#

1)Click【Cross Promotion】-【Create Campaign】


2)Fill out budget & program information

Configuration itemInstruction
Campaign NameEnter a customized Campaign Name
Campaign TypeSelect the type of product:Android、iOS、Web page。
Ad formatChoose the Ad format, currently 4 formats are supported: rewarded videos, splash ads, interstitials, and banners.
eCPMEnter the eCPM price for doing sorting stratification in the segments.
Start TimeSelect the start time
End TimeSelect the end time.

3)Fill in the User Targeting

4)Select Ad Unit Targeting


5)Upload Ad creatives: Click [Add creatives ] on the right side and fill in relevant information according to the prompts.


6)After building a cross-promoted Ad campaign, it will automatically appear in segments, which can be done in a hierarchical order based on the eCPM price of the cross-promotion.


4. FAQs#

Q:How do I need to configure Deeplink URL links for iOS products?#

A:There are 2 configurations:

  • Use regular links, or Universal Link for iOS.

  • Jumping with scheme

    • e.g.:openapp.jdmobile://virtua

    • After iOS 9, the use of scheme hops requires white-listing in the app's info.plist.

    • Add -LSApplicationQueriesSchemes of type Array to info.plist.

    • If not configured, you can't jump properly to the


Q:When adding Ad material, can I fill in the address of a third-party Networks website (e.g., fill in a Youtube link) for a video-type landing page?#

A:No. The video type only supports mp4 format, please download the video and upload it to your own server, then fill in the corresponding address.
