Live Alert

1. Functions#

Developers can flexibly set the metrics and trigger conditions based on their business needs. When the data meets the conditions, TradPlus automatically generates an alert report to help developers quickly identify abnormal data.


2. Usage scenes#

When developers need timely access to abnormal fluctuations in certain key data indicators, they can use the data alert function to detect data anomalies in a timely manner.


3. Usage guides#

  • There are 4 pre-set alarm rules on TradPlus VisiM, you can view and modify the detailed rules by clicking the [Edit] on the right side.
  • If the preset alarms do not meet the requirements, you can click [Create a new alarm].


1)Set the Alarm Objects

TradPlus Data Alerts supports configuration of the following alert objects:

  • Select dimensions

    • By default, [All Apps/Ad units] is selected. If you want to specify apps/ad units, click [Include].

    • For example, if you need to specify “app1” for monitoring, select [ Apps ] - [ Include ] - [ app1 ], as shown in the following figure.

  • Select the currency

    • The default selection is the same as the backend report currency.

TradPlus Live Alert supports monitoring of 18 data metrics:

    • Triggers when all of the following conditions are met.


3)Set alarm notification methods

Currently, there are 2 types of notifications: Site messages and emails.

  • Site messages:

    • The notification bar on the home page of the TradPlus backend gives an impression of the alert messages.

  • Emails:

    • You need to add recipient mailboxes, support to add multiple recipient mailboxes, as in Figure 1.

    • If the alarm is triggered, the added recipient mailboxes will receive the alarm email, as shown in Figure 2.


4)Naming Alert Rules

Enter a customized alarm name


5)Save Alert rules

After confirming that the alarm rule is configured correctly, click [Save].


6)Enable alarms

After the alarm rule is configured, please check whether the alarm status is turned on. If it is not turned on, you need to turn it on manually.


7)View Alarm Reports

  • View Entrance

    • Click [View Report] on the right side of the alarm list to enter the report page of the alarm, as shown at mark 1 in the figure.

    • Click [Alarm Reports] on the left side of the page to enter the alarm report page, as shown at mark 2 in the figure.


  • Instructions

i. Support filtering by conditions:

 a. Date

 b. Alarm name

 c. Dimension:Apps / Ad units

 d. Alarm status:Enable / Disable

ii. Click the arrow on the left side of the alarm report list to view the alarm report.

iii. Click the alarm name to view and edit the alarm rule.


4. FAQs#

Q:What time of day can I expect to receive an alert report?#

A:

Reports are sent out as follows:

  • If only TradPlus statistics are included, an alert is expected at 1:30 a.m. (BST) the following day;

  • If Ad Networks data is included, an alert is expected to be issued at 18:00 (Beijing time) on the following day (due to the need to wait for the return of data from the Networks).

  • For example, if only TradPlus statistics are included in the data fluctuation on the 24th, an alert is expected to be issued at 1:30 a.m. (Beijing time) on the 25th; if Networks data are included, an alert is expected to be issued at 18:00 a.m. (Beijing time) on the 25th.
  • Alerts are issued only when data fluctuations trigger an alert rule.
